Afin de convaincre Chevy Chase de faire un one-man show à Broadway, Maxwell et Fran se rendent à Atlantic City. Alors que Maxwell s'emploie à convaincre Chevy, celui-ci fait du charme à Fran... Ravie de rendre Maxwell jaloux, la nounou répond aux avances de Chevy, ignorant qu'il l'utilise car elle lui porte bonheur au jeu.
