Alain et Carole forment un couple très apprécié à Saint-Michel-en-Bray. Lui est ostéopathe dans la commune ; elle en est la maire. Comme chaque année, ils se préparent à célébrer Noël avec leurs trois enfants : Sarah, David et la cadette Noa. Mais les exigences écoresponsables de ces derniers, ainsi qu'un boycott politique visant Carole, risquent de gâcher la fête.
